On Wednesday 18th July we celebrated our first ever awards ceremony. This was an evening to showcase the hard work and achievements of our students in Year 7 through to Year 10 and included subject awards, sports awards, community awards and the Student of the Year. It was heartwarming to see the students beaming smiles as they collected their certificate and trophy from our Principal and special guest Joe Thompson. Joe plays for Rochdale and had an amazing story of resilience to share with our students which will inspire them to always strive for their personal best.
The Student of the Year for Year 7 was Armando, Year 8 Morgan, Year 9 Valentina and Year 10 Hasnaa.
It was a delightful event and one we will continue in years to come.
