As part of the National School Sport Week the FA and the Youth Sport Trust launched a new partnership to encourage more girls into football. Last week former Everton, Liverpool and England goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis came into MCA to run a master class session, along with coaches from the FA, for 30 girls. Rachel described her journey to success to Year 8 students and was inundated with questions about her life story. She proved to be an inspirational speaker, talking about the challenges she faced and how she combined ambition with action to achieve her goals.
